Tutorial Lens

After you’ve paired your Spectacles for the first time you’ll be taken to an onboarding Lens that shows you the basic gestures you’ll need to navigate with Spectacles. 

 

Pop, pinch, slide and resize the jellyfish to get your bearings before heading to the Lens Explorer to discover more experiences. 

 

Welcome to Spectacles!

Let’s get started with a quick tutorial.

 

Pinch to Select

Reach out and touch the bubble until it glows, then pinch with your thumb and index finger.

 

Select With the Cursor

The cursor helps reaching objects at a distance.

Match the hand hint pose to see the cursor. Move it over the bubble, then pinch.

 

Pinch & Drag to Move

Pinch the jellyfish and drag it to the right.

 

Pinch & Pull with Both Hands to Resize

To make an object larger, pinch with both hands and pull apart.

 

Control in the Palm of Your Hand

Raise your left palm until you see the Menu button.

Touch the button to pause a Lens.

 

Turn Your Hand Over

When a Lens is paused, view Settings on the back of your left hand.

 

Open Settings

Touch the back of your left hand and touch again to close.

You're now ready to explore more Lenses!

You can touch the Save button to add this to your Saved Lenses.

Touch the Exit button when you’re ready to leave.
