Compatibility
Many contemporary phones are compatible with Spectacles – but not all of them. Make sure yours meets the minimum device requirements for Spectacles.
Spectacles are compatible with:
- iOS: iPhone running iOS 16 or above
- Android: Android 12 or above
You should also be using the latest version of the Spectacles app (iOS, Android) and Snapchat.
Lens Studio is updated more frequently than Spectacles, and getting on the latest version can cause issues pushing to Spectacles. We'll explicitly mention the supported version of Lens Studio with every release note.
Lens Studio 5.3 is compatible with Snap OS v5.58 and later.
