Disconnecting from the Spectacles App

If you’re having trouble connecting, or staying connected to the Spectacles app please keep in mind that in order to pair or re-pair your Spectacles: 

  • Spectacles need to have at least 10% battery life to pair 
  • Your phone’s Bluetooth must be turned on
  • Your phone must be connected to the internet 
  • Your phone must be in close proximity to the Spectacles

Disconnecting? 

Spectacles require the latest version of the Spectacles App for iOS or Android. Visit the App Store or Play Store to make sure you’re up to date.

If your Spectacles app is already up to date, try turning Bluetooth off, and powering off your phone. Wait 1 minute, then power your phone back on. When your phone has powered on again, turn Bluetooth on as well. Then, follow the steps in Pairing the device to your phone - first time.

If you are still being disconnected go to your Bluetooth settings and delete any existing pairings with Spectacles. After this, follow the steps in Pairing the device to your phone - first time.
