Reset
You can use the Reset to wipe any data on your Spectacles, and it might be part of a troubleshooting step if you’re having a problem with your device.
We’d really like to hear from you before you perform this step yourself so we can understand the problem you’ve encountered, but if you need to perform a Reset, these are the steps:
The simplest way to perform the Reset is through an option in the Spectacles settings that you can find through the Spectacles App.
- Open the Spectacles App
- Tap the Spectacles icon in the top left corner
- Scroll down to the Reset section
- Tap Unpair and erase all content
Alternatively you can press and hold the buttons on both left and right temple for 20 seconds.
Note: You will need to re-pair your glasses after the Reset - and you’ll have lost any captures on your Spectacles that haven’t already been imported. Your Spectacles will also have been logged out of your Snapchat account, so you’ll need to log back in when you pair.
