Location Permissions

Spectacles are equipped with built-in GPS and GNSS that allow them to capture location-based information. 

When you first set up and pair your new Spectacles to the Spectacles mobile app, you’ll be asked whether you’d like to enable location data. If you opted to not enable it when pairing, you can always manually enable it later in the Spectacles app.

Here’s how to enable location data on Spectacles:

1. Open the Spectacles App
2. Select the Spectacles icon in the top left corner
3. Open Privacy Settings 
4. Toggle location on

You can follow the same steps above to disable this feature if you change your mind and would like to disable location sharing. 

By default, location data will not be captured on Spectacles unless you enable it. Keep in mind that location data does not need to be enabled to use Spectacles.
