Compatibility Guide

Many contemporary phones are compatible with Spectacles — but not all of them. Make sure yours meets the minimum device requirements for whatever Spectacles you’re interested in!

Spectacles 3

Spectacles 3 are compatible with the following devices:

  • iOS: iPhone 7 or later, running iOS 11 or above
  • Android: Select Android devices running Android 6 or above

Android devices compatible with Spectacles 3:

  • Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, or later
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 8 or later
  • Google Pixel 2, Google Pixel 2 XL, or later

Keep in mind the devices listed above must be running Android 6 or above. This list is subject to change.

Spectacles 2 (Nico, Veronica, Original)

Spectacles 2 (Nico, Veronica, Original) are compatible with the following devices:

  • iOS: iPhone 5 or above, running iOS 10 or above
  • Android: Android devices running Android 4.4 or above, with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Wi-Fi Direct

Spectacles 2 (Nico, Veronica, Original) are not compatible with the following devices:

  • Samsung Galaxy A6+
  • Samsung Galaxy J5
  • Samsung Galaxy J7
  • Samsung Galaxy J7 Perx
  • Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime
  • Samsung Galaxy J7 V
