Hard Reset Your Spectacles
A Hard Reset is the last troubleshooting option available. Although it does not delete Snaps from your Spectacles storage, it should still only be performed as a last resort — since you’ll need to re-pair your Spectacles to your phone from scratch.
Please read all about Charging Spectacles, Spectacles Errors, and Power Cycle before attempting to Hard Reset your Spectacles.
Here’s how to Hard Reset your Spectacles:
- Press and hold the button on your Spectacles for 20 seconds.
- While holding the button, you may see the LEDs on the outside flash.
- After the 20 seconds have expired, release the button.
- Immediately press and release the button once more.
If your Hard Reset is successful, three LEDs on the outside should appear in a triangle formation. The LEDs will begin to rotate clockwise. Additional LEDs will light up clockwise to represent the resetting progress. Once complete, all LEDs should flash once.
If the LEDs aren’t appearing as mentioned above, please wait ten seconds before retrying. If no LEDs appear, try charging your Spectacles for at least 20 minutes. Be sure to remove your Spectacles from the Charging Case or unplug the Cable before attempting a Hard Reset again!
