Return Policy
Your subscription has a minimum commitment period of 12-months. Your subscription price is $99 plus tax per month. However, you may be given the option to pay for the first twelve months of your subscription upon taking out your subscription, meaning your first payment will instead be for $1,188 plus tax. The 12-month commitment period will still apply. This commitment period means that you cannot stop your subscription until you have made 12 total payments (11 renewals) if you pay monthly.
Your subscription will automatically renew, unless canceled after the 12-month commitment period. If not canceled, your subscription will continue until canceled by you or us. If you have chosen to pay for the first twelve months of your subscription upon taking out your subscription ($1,188 plus tax), your payment for the 13th month and each month thereafter will be $99 plus tax.
If you attempt to cancel before the 12-month commitment period ends, you will continue to be charged for each renewal remaining in the commitment period, but the subscription will then end after 12 months or, if you have already paid for the 12-month commitment period, you will not receive any refund, but the subscription will end after 12 months. If you cancel during a subscription period, you will not receive a partial refund for that period.
You must cancel by 4 days before the end of the current subscription period in order to avoid the next renewal and charge.
You are also authorizing us to charge your card for a lost or damaged fee of up to $2400 if you lose or damage the Device.
You can log in to manage your subscription here. From there you will be able to view the amount and timing of your next payment, see all your previous payments, and update your card details. Your login is your Snapchat account username, telephone number or email and password.
Canceling your Subscription
To cancel your subscription, please open and send the auto-populated email found [here] or on your Spectacles service account page. (If you cancel during your commitment period, you will continue to be charged until the end of your commitment period and then your subscription will end.)
Alternatively please reach out to our support team at support@spectacles.com who will be happy to help you cancel, if you do not want to use the auto-populated email linked above. In that case, the support team will need some information like your name, email address and Spectacles serial number which you can send in the format below.
I {name} want to cancel my subscription to the Spectacles service. The subscription has been created for the email address: {email} and the serial number of the device I have in my possession is {serial number}.
Upon receipt of your request we will proceed to verify the information and cancel the subscription. Otherwise, we will contact you if there are any questions.
Note: Per the User Agreement, upon expiration or termination of the Subscription Term, unless otherwise directed by Snap, you will need to return the Device and all materials that were originally provided with the Device back to Snap within thirty (30) days of expiration or termination, as applicable. If you do not return the Device within the applicable thirty (30) day period, or the Device is deemed by Snap to be damaged upon return (ordinary wear and tear excepted), and Snap may invoice your account for a lost or damaged product fee as set forth above.
