Hand Tracking
The full-skeleton hand tracking is the primary way of navigating with your Spectacles. It works by using the cameras to track the movement of your hands in relation to the position of a lens.
Different experiences will use different combinations of gestures to navigate and each experience will typically explain these through a tutorial or prompts. Depending on the experience and action you want to perform, this might need one or two hands to complete.
As you use your hands to interact, you may notice the tips of your fingers lighting up. This feedback tells you which command you are about to make.
The onboarding Lens will take you through the basic gestures: Pinch, Drag, Swipe, Press and Grab and more.
When pressing you will need to use your index finger, and when pinching you will need to use your index finger and thumb.
As an alternative to hand tracking, you can use the Spectacles App and your phone to act as a virtual pointer.
Note: When using hand tracking the Cursor used for navigation is coming from the wrist rather than your finger, this makes the tracking smoother when selecting objects.
