Lens Explorer

Lens Explorer will open automatically when you turn on your Spectacles. It’s your homescreen, the way you’ll browse and discover new experiences, and access Lenses. 

To help you find what you’re looking for each Lens shows its title, a preview image and creator. 

Lenses are grouped to simplify the navigation. You can select a new group from the options on the left side by pinching.

Within each group there may be more Lenses to explore. Pinch and move the scrollbar on the right, or the lenses themselves, to view everything within the group.

You can sort the lenses displayed by opening the sort dropdown and selecting a sort option.

You can search for lenses by selecting the search bar at the bottom of the Lens Explorer. By default a search will match against lens names.

You can limit your search to Lens Creators by prepending it with the “@” character.

You can search for lenses by tag by prepending your search with the “#” character.

To view more information about a lens you can select the “info” button in its top right corner.

Here you can view the lens tags at the top, the lens name, creator, description, and the last time this lens was updated. You can also open or save a lens from this page. Selecting a lens tag or creator name will open a search for that tag or creator name. 

When you’re in a Lens you can exit back to the Lens Explorer by looking at the palm of your left hand and pressing Exit.
