About Next Generation Spectacles Storage

Spectacles (2021) have a storage capacity of 32 GB - which allows them to store up to 100 videos or 100 photos (or “Snaps”) at a time. 

If you see the internal LED pulse red when attempting to take a Snap that means you’ve run out of storage space. To make room on your new Spectacles you’ll need to import them to your Memories in Snapchat. 

By default, Snapchat will back up these Snaps whenever you’re connected to Wi-Fi and your new Spectacles are charging. You can also update your Memory Settings to allow Snaps to back up over your cellular data, if you’d like. You’ll need to have the Snapchat app opened on your phone to initiate a backup.
