Launch Lenses from Snapchat

Discovering Lenses in Snapchat is fun and easy. Now you can launch Lenses on your Spectacles directly from your Snapchat app. To get started, find a Lens, tap on the info icon, and find the ‘Launch on Spectacles’ option.

Personalize Your Lenses

You can now use the User Context API to build more personalized Lenses with birthday, location, or current weather.

Snaps On-the-go

Get Snaps from your Spectacles to your phone faster while on-the-go. Simply go to memories in your Snapchat app and tap import to start transfer over Wi-Fi.

Seamlessly Push Lenses to Your Spectacles

You can now push your Lenses to your Spectacles from Lens Studio without having to be on the same Wi-Fi network. Perfect when using restricted networks such as hotels and public Wi-Fi.

More Immersive Snapping Experience

It’s fun to take Snaps of your Lens experience on Spectacles and share with others. You can now disable the Snap preview that appears after your Snap recording is finished so you can stay immersed in your experience. Your Snaps will be in your Snaps Gallery when you are ready for them. To disable the Snap preview, toggle the ‘Quick Preview’ option for your Device settings.

Turn on Your Spectacles from Snapchat

You can now turn on/off your Spectacles directly from your Spectacles Home.

Better Framing for Scans

When you start a scan on your Spectacles, you will now see a preview of the frame used to get your visual scan results. Use this preview to better frame the items you are scanning.
