Power Cycle

Having some trouble with your next generation Spectacles? Let’s try performing a restart to get you back to Snapping.

A restart will initiate a Power Cycle, which may wake them up. 

This process does not delete any Snaps stored on your new Spectacles, but it will unpair them from your phone - so just remember to go back and pair before you do anything else after completing these steps. 

Here’s how to restart your new Spectacles

  1. Press and hold the right button for 20s (best to use a timer for this part)
  2. Release the right button when the blue internal LEDs are quickly blinking.

Note: When you’re completing the power cycle the pairing flow will initiate after 7 seconds, just keep on holding the button for the full 20 seconds and it will move to the power cycle.
