Turning off your Next generation Spectacles
When not in use we recommend turning your new Spectacles off. There are two ways to do this:
- Press and hold either button for 5 seconds and release
OR
- If you were wearing your new Spectacles, simply take them off and they will automatically shut down after 30 minutes.
The display and camera will go off within 3 seconds of the glasses being un-worn. If the blue inward LED is flashing then the power is still on. In this state the camera will not be active, and the new Spectacles will automatically shutdown after 30 minutes of inactivity. If you want to shut them off sooner, hold both buttons for 5 seconds and release.
Tip: Take your new Spectacles off before trying to manually turn them off, they may boot up automatically if you are still wearing them!
Turning off your display
You can hide the display with a special gesture that can be used at any time.
