Finding your way around
You can interact with the device and navigate between experiences and tools using the touchpad.
The touchpad is located on the right side of the device on the right temple (so the right side as you are wearing them!). The touch pad is only the lower half of the “temple area”, you should be able to see and feel a seam between the two halves.
Lens Carousel
When your next generation Spectacles boot up, after the Snapchat logo, you should see a Lens Carousel populated with Lenses in the same as you would when opening the Snapchat app on your phone.
You can interact with the Lens Carousel using the touchpad.

Swipe forward and back to navigate to different Lenses.
Tap on the Lens you want to interact with and you’ll be transported to an immersive mode to experience the Lens.
Exiting a Lens
Once you open a Lens you’re put in an immersive mode to interact with the Lens you have selected. To go back to the Lens Carousel you have to exit out from the Lens.
Swipe down twice quickly, to exit out of a Lens.
After the first swipe down you will see a carrot symbol appear at the top of the screen, a further quick swipe down will exit you out of the Lens.
System Info
System info can be accessed through your new Spectacles to allow you to quickly check the status of the battery, Wi-Fi connection, screen brightness levels and audio levels.
Swipe up from the Lens Carousel to check your system status.

Note: You can’t adjust these settings on this screen, to make any changes you’ll need to open the same page in Snapchat. Head to Settings then ‘Spectacles’ and select Spectacles (2021).
